The Cancer Patient Support Program provides supportive and rehabilitative services to cancer patients and their families in the Burlington, Vermont area. The Cancer Patient Support Program was created by a group of cancer survivors and others who have been touched by cancer. Their collective experience and first-hand knowledge led to our Program.

Facing a diagnosis of cancer is a time of fear, anxiety and questioning. Patients and families often do not know where to turn for help. Trying to understand and cope with the challenges that arise following a diagnosis can be difficult. CPSP is here to help you and your family address concerns, answer your questions and assist you through diagnosis, treatment and recovery. CPSP provides a range of support services at not charge to cancer patients and their families.

The Stowe Weekend of Hope is an annual forum for education, enlightenment, and recreation for cancer patients and survivors with any type of cancer…and their families. The focus is to inspire, educate, and celebrate the lives of people living with cancer. This unique event addresses the complex challenges and needs of people with cancer at any stage in their disease. Cancer presents families with many challenges – physical, emotional, spiritual, and financial.

Each year, the Stowe Area Association lodging members donate hundreds of free rooms to cancer survivors and their loved ones. The Stowe community opens its collective heart and its doors, places of worship, and beautiful natural wonders to families needing a retreat dedicated to giving them the tools to cope with cancer.
